PHILO Ladprao 18 is a low-rise residential building located at Ladprao, soi 18, surrounded by several mid-rise residential buildings. With the potential location of being near Bangkok public transportation, making this residential building completes the dweller’s lifestyle within a limited area.

This 8-floor condominium has been designed to keep the balance between solids and voids on the elevation side, to meet with the 2-meter setbacks regulation. The façade of this building has not only played its role as the solid wall decoration but also making an interesting outside look by simplifying its shape and pattern from classic architectural; classical orders.

This building’s facade, clad in customized precast concrete panels resembles a simplified classical orders shape. The façade strips are alternately placed along the building’s vertical lines on each floor, slightly different in position shifting with the same rhythm. Also, the set of front façades that connected to the street side have been rotated their side edge’s direction, facing toward the street to work as vertical blinders, creating shade and giving the dweller’s privacy from outsiders
